This year I'll be celebrating my 15th wedding anniversary, my 35th birthday, my 20th year in ministry, and helping with the 100th anniversary of our church. My wife Shannon and I have two wonderful little boys: Dennis (Age 3) and Nathan (Age 1).  They are the most wonderful boys... constantly full of smiles, hugs, and love.  Never could I have imagined how much joy and fun there would be in being a father.  Nathan is great at baby wrestling, and Dennis can figure out almost any computer or A/V menu system (just don't give him a log in yet :) ).  The lord has certainly blessed us in amazing ways.

I came to Fairview 6 years ago from "Mission Maine" where I was the Assistant Crusade Director for the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association responsible for organizing five different crusades in five different cities, and helped with two others. It was a huge blessing, and with 86,000 in attendance, we saw over 5000 people accept Christ. Before Joining the Luis Palau team, I ministered at New Hope Community Church in Portland, OR, where I worked for Pastor Dennis Deardorff and later Pastor Ric Martinez. During this six year time, I attended Multnomah Bible College & Biblical Seminary. Where I earned 3 degrees: a Biblical Foundations Certificate, a Bachelor of Arts in Theology (Biblical Languages), and an Advanced Master of Divinity degree.

The ministries (areas of oversight, responsibilities, committees I serve on, things I do, etc.) that I am a part of here at Fairview are many and varied, so I'll just give a list of some of them I can think of quickly (you wouldn't want to read the full list :). Team Ministry Conferences, Leader training, 5 Small Groups, Church Bulletin, E-Newsletter, Writing book on the Origins of the Bible, TLC Lesson, Graphic Design,  Pastoral Meetings, Prayer, Pastoral Support, occasional Preaching, occasional Marriages, occasional Funerals, Help people seeking assistance, Assist in leading small portions of the main service, Assimilation, Phone Ministry, Annual Camping Trip, Annual Car Show, Friend Day Planning and Publicity, LIGHT planning, Committees I'm on: Elders Committee, Trustee Committee, 100th Anniversary Committee, Weigh down classes, Ramsey classes, all Church event planning and scheduling, Building Insurance, Copiers and Printers, Phones, Employee Benefits, Polity, Employee Leave, IT, Data and Directories, Computers, web, New ministry startup and development, and a bit more.... And, I love it all!

The opportunity to do ministry with the people of Fairview is one of the greatest blessings of my life. We have so many people of unwavering commitment, passion, faithfulness, skill, wisdom, and insight that I constantly thank God for the opportunity to serve alongside them in His ministry.
