Jessica Grennan, Pre-Kindergarten, 5-day

This is Jessica's second year at Fairview. She will complete an AAAS degree in Early Childhood Education from Everett Community College this Fall. She has a passion for teaching and working with children in a setting where she can also share her biblical beliefs. Her expereience with children began with being a Ski School Instructor working with children between the ages of 3-8 years, and as then working as a Teacher Intern for two Kindergarten classrooms during 2004. She has also worked planning lessons and activities as a Recreational Leader for children between the ages of 3-12 years. When not at Fairview, Jessica enjoys scrap-booking, cooking, working for Young Life, and spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite Bible passages is 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all you anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Darla Smatlak, Pre-Kindergarten, 3-day

This is Darla's second year at Fairview. She has a BA in English and Spanish Education degree from Anderson University. She is excited about teaching the 3-day PreK class! When not busy with her husband, and three girls (ages 7, 5 and 2), she enjoys scrapbooking, reading Christian fiction and traveling. One of her favorite Bible passages is Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." 

Danielle Roberts, Preschool

This is Danielle's first year at Fairview and second year teaching Preschool. She has an AA, and an AAAS degreen in Early Childhood Education from Shoreline Community College. She especially enjoys working with children between the ages of 3-5 years. Formerly, she was a substitute lead Pre-K teacher at Shoreline Community College, and continues to work as a Nanny and Respite care provider when not at Fairview. Active at her church, she teaches Sunday School and helps to direct the Friday night Children's Ministry. One of her favorite Bible passages is Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord you God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

Debbie Christensen, Assistant Preschool

This is Debbie's seventh year at Fairview (officially). She has a BA in Speech Ed. From the University of Washington. She loves to travel with her family, and hosting a Bible study group for teenage girls. Her favorite thing about working at Fairview is that she gets to work with everyone. One of her favorite Bible passages is Isaiah 64:8 "Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are the work of your hand."
